Korean Saju Guide

What Is Korean Saju?

Korean Saju is a traditional system for interpreting patterns associated with a person’s year, month, day and time of birth. Also called the Four Pillars of Birth, it uses birth date, time and place to explore tendencies, relationships, work, money and changing life periods. It is interpretive rather than a guarantee of future events.

Is Saju the same as the Four Pillars?

Yes. “Saju” literally refers to four pillars. Each pillar corresponds to the year, month, day or time of birth, and each is represented through traditional calendar symbols. A reading considers how those pillars relate rather than treating one sign as a complete personality label.

What information is used in a Saju reading?

A personalised reading normally uses the birth date, calendar type, birth time where known, and birthplace. The client’s question and current circumstances provide practical context for the interpretation. An approximate or unknown birth time can still be used, with clear limits on time-dependent detail.

What can a Saju reading help you examine?

Saju can provide a structured way to reflect on recurring patterns, strengths, tensions, relationship dynamics, work preferences and the timing of change. It should not replace medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice, and it does not remove the client’s responsibility for decisions.
