1. Information we collect

When you place an order or submit an intake form, we collect the information you provide, which may include:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Birth date
  • Birth time or approximate birth time
  • Birth city and country
  • Calendar type
  • Information used for traditional Saju calculation
  • Reading questions and context voluntarily submitted
  • Selected reading preferences
  • Payment reference or checkout reference when supplied

2. Payment information

Payments are processed by Stripe.

Seoul Astrology does not directly collect or store complete card numbers or card security codes.

3. How information is used

We use the information collected to:

  • Process and confirm an order
  • Prepare and deliver the purchased reading
  • Ask for clarification where needed
  • Respond to customer enquiries
  • Maintain business and transaction records
  • Meet legal obligations

4. How information is transmitted and stored

Intake form data is submitted securely to the Seoul Astrology website endpoint and sent to our administrative email address so that the order can be prepared. The current intake system does not maintain a separate customer database. Payment records are handled through Stripe.

5. Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to prepare and deliver the reading, respond to questions, maintain required business records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations. Information that is no longer reasonably required is periodically reviewed for deletion or de-identification where practicable.

6. Service providers

We use the following service providers to operate this website and deliver readings:

  • Stripe for payment processing
  • Cloudflare for website hosting, security and email delivery infrastructure
  • The email service provider used by our administrative mailbox

7. Overseas processing

Some of the service providers above may process or store information outside your home country as part of their normal infrastructure. We have not independently confirmed every specific storage location used by these providers.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect submitted information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

9. Your rights and requests

You may contact us to request:

  • Access to the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion of your information, where applicable
  • To raise a privacy enquiry or complaint
